Project: Women Mean Business: Conference facilitation and online content
Athena Media has a very successful ongoing relationship with Women Mean Business, Ireland's leading publication for women in business.
WMB is the first Irish bi-monthly publication of its kind, giving advertisers the unique opportunity to reach Irish businesswomen and inform them of the latest business products and technology on offer.
Managing director Helen Shaw has facilitated the Women Mean Business Conference & Awards for the last five years running (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012), and Athena Media has produced short videos and podcasts for the annual event. In April 2012, Helen facilitated a WMB conference in Cork titled 'Women - The Confident Edge' and this regional event is expected to happen again in 2013.
Helen also facilitated the annual WMB Conference and Awards on the 1st October 2012 which was held in the Shelbourne hotel in Dublin. Athena Media produced a short video for WMB on this years conference and awards. The theme of this year's event is 'Power the Passion'. The guest speakers were Prof. Susan Vinnicombe, entrepreneur and author Sharon Wright and enterpreneur and social innovator Dawn Gibbins.

We engaged Athena Media to film our annual WMB Conference & Awards. This they did with great professionalism. The producers made the whole operation seamless where many various elements had to be captured on camera. It was obvious that they had planned each scene meticulously and had also taken into account the personalities, time constraints and demands that such a busy day brings.
Helen Shaw is a fantastic facilitator. She commands the stage and proceedings with excellent precision and in an effortless manner. Her ability to engage and connect speaker to audience requires great communication skills; her understanding of my objectives for the Conference & Awards were more than met. She plays an integral part of our offering at WMB.
