Athena Media commissioned by IBEC

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

IBEC - Ireland’s leading organisation for industry and employment - has commissioned Athena Media for a series for podcasts. Athena Media, the creators of podcastingireland.ie, is now the country’s independent leader in professional podcasting and online content creation. Podcastingireland.ie was formally launched in March 2006 with its music channel Making Waves which is sponsored by 02 - the mobile phone service supplier and the portal is home to Ireland’s key podcasting directory. RTE - Ireland’s public broadcaster - tops Ireland’s download charts with its extensive range of podcasts largely drawn from its radio output but as independent business Athena Media is increasingly the home for all things podcasting and for all resources to do with podcasting and online content creation. Its corporate clients include Murray Consultants, the National Consumer Agency, Vhi and businesses like Calyx and Kingspan Century. For more about Athena Media’s podcasting work check out www.podcastingireland.ie and hear our audio podcasts on the sites.
